Shahid Kapoor Repeating His Sneaker Is Basically Every Middle Class Guy Ever

For scarily good looking men like Shahid Kapoor, dressing up is more like a forced decision. They're just so handsome that they don't need clothes to enhance their appearance. But in case they're blessed with abilities of dressing well anyway, it's almost like landing a million-dollar lottery — not many win it. Point being, Shahid Kapoor has them and has been winning the world with them; even with a damn shoe-repeat (three times).
Here's how the actor achieved an impossible task: of wearing the same casual slip-on sneakers three times, and ensuring we don't notice at all.
Shahid Kapoor Repeating His Sneaker Is Basically Every Middle Class Guy Ever
In instance one above, we spotted the actor at a popular studio in Mumbai, before heading to shoot a television chat show. His wife, Mira Rajput, too was accompanying him, to do her bit in increasing TRPs for the channel. Wearing a well-fitted cardigan with trousers (with just enough room to avoid a jock itch), Shahid paired his black casual slip-on sneakers with, if we may, some very safe apparel here. Casual, and just warm enough to keep the chills of Mumbai at bay.

As the sun retreated, Kapoor threw on a stellar blazer on the cardigan and gave a big lesson on layering right. And of course, on how to coordinate with #bae to keep your marriage tight. Another thing to notice: he's only closed one blazer button here. Attaboy! And besides, once again, nailing the fit of this outfit here, he's shown us how to take the attention away from a footwear-repeat. It's simple: bring the focus on your top half with an eye-dropping piece!
The next day, the same pair of footwear found place in the actor's gym outfit. However, Shahid kept the outfit very monotone this time, till the very brim (notice the baseball cap too). Though, because of the colour way, the slip-ons bore an identity of their own, the look was so cohesive, that we hardly noticed the shoe-repeat. Proving that nothing can ever stop a style moment from happening. Not even a common practice of repeating your shoes!

Jennifer Lawrence offended by 'sexist' dress remarks, says it was her choice

Jennifer Lawrence offended by 'sexist' dress remarks, says it was her choice
Jennifer Lawrence is currently on a press tour for thriller Red Sparrow and recently the Oscar-winning actress was at the receiving end of 'dress criticism'. The comments suggested that the sleeveless Versace outfit worn during a photo shoot in London implied that she was being mistreated alongside her coat-wearing male co-stars.
And, the actress has responded back saying it is "utterly ridiculous." Taking to Facebook, Lawrence wrote, "Wow. I don't really know where to get started on this "Jennifer Lawrence wearing a revealing dress in the cold" controversy. This is not only utterly ridiculous, I am extremely offended. That Versace dress was fabulous, you think I'm going to cover that gorgeous dress up with a coat and a scarf? I was outside for 5 minutes. I would have stood in the snow for that dress because I love fashion and that was my choice. This is sexist, this is ridiculous, this is not feminism. Over- reacting about everything someone says or does, creating controversy over silly innocuous things such as what I choose to wear or not wear, is not moving us forward. It's creating silly distractions from real issues. Get a grip people. Everything you see me wear is my choice. And if I want to be cold THATS MY CHOICE TOO!"
For the occasion, Lawrence selected a stunning Versace number with plunging
neckline and hip-high slit. And, she looked every bit gorgeous in it!

Many critics presumed that Lawrence had not chosen the outfit herself, implying that it represented persisting gender inequality in Hollywood.
Joel Edgerton, one of the pictured co-stars, also chimed in on the issue via an interview with Yahoo Movies UK.
"Yesterday, on the balcony, seemed like a lose-lose situation because if Jennifer wore jeans and a coat I'm sure somebody else would have criticised (sic) her," he said. "At some point it seemed like the weather was blamed because it was the optics, plus the weather, plus the four of us in our outfits. ... It seems like everywhere Jennifer goes she's part of some international incident." ALSO READ: Taylor Swift has been keeping Jennifer Lawrence 'up at night', here's why
He added, "The body-shaming and outfit-shaming that goes on in the perishable internet media is really disappointing."
Well, we say, haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate!
