Pantone announced the color of 2018, and it’s elite, sassy and all about style

Every year in December, Pantone announces the "Color of the Year". The selected colour is chosen after thorough research based on the various global scenarios, conditions and trend-forecasting. Pantone Color Institute has been declaring the “Color of the Year” since 2000; while last year the chosen colour was derived from nature - Greenery; this time around it revolves around the cosmos.

Pantone recently declared the chosen colour on their official Instagram account. They posted a short clip and captioned it saying, “

Lighting the way for the year ahead, Pantone announces PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet as the Color of the Year 2018! A dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade, #UltraViolet communicates originality, ingenuity and visionary thinking that points us to the future.”

The gorgeous ultra-violet colour boasts of elegance, supremacy, poise and oodles of style. The colour is a statement in itself and becomes an instant highlight of your entire appearance.
